Serre Chevalier is one of the most extensive ski areas in France with 250kms of superb runs amidst truly outstanding scenery. The resort is a safe choice for the complete beginner, offering good nursery slopes in each village. There are great confidence building runs, such as the Grande Alpe at the top of the gondola above Chantmerle. Intermediates can ski through the Parc National des Ecrins in some of the most glorious scenery in the French Alps, with long red runs from the Prorel, Aiguillet and Eduits. There are a number of black runs and off-piste available for the more advanced skiers and Serre Chevalier is also home to the renowned Luc Alphand ‘Olympic Black Run’.

Chalet La Louviere
Chalet La Louviere is a beautiful building built in the 18th Century, ideally located in the Hameau du Bez, which is in Villeneuve la Salle. Perched above the hamlet of Bez, La Louviere offers peace and quiet when you need it whilst still being in a central location, allowing convenient access to everything you may need whilst on holiday. Ideally suited to school groups, La Louviere has 20 rooms, sleeping up to a maximum of 8 people in a mixture of bunk-beds and single beds. All rooms are en-suite.
