Teachers’ Area

Welcome to the Staff Room

LATEST NEWS: Please click here for our advice on the current coronavirus outbreak, dated 1st April 2020.

You can find further guidance and a joint statement from all the major associations within the educational visits and tours sector here, dated 23rd April 2020.

If your trip has to be cancelled and your school has cover under the Government’s Risk Protection Arrangment (RPA) for schools, we have anecdotal evidence to suggest that other schools have been able to claim some monies back through this route. Once you have made a claim through RPA, we would be happy to continue discussions with you in helping to refund any outstanding costs.

Please see more information here www.gov.uk/guidance/the-risk-protection-arrangement-rpa-for-schools.

If your school does not have RPA cover, we recommend you contact your insurance provider in the first instance and we will provide you with a cancellation invoice to support you with your claim.

We have also put together some Q&As here.
